Been really really long since I've updated this site so I'm here to clear the cobwebs and dust before it really enters the cemetery :P
Life is pretty fulfilling as a poly student because of the never-ending assignments (rolls eyes), and activities lined up. In October, I went to Cambodia for service learning organised by my school, and we did some teaching as well as refurnishing at a rural primary school there. It was hella fun and enriching. Bonus was that the people I went with became real close friends with me (:
Above are pretty much how the school environment was like and of course the children (: The school and our homestay are located at the Baray district, Kampong Tham. Below would be the pics of our accommodation during our volunteering experience.
The washrooms can't flush tissues else everything will clog up, and be prepared for the company of lizards, spiders, frogs, grasshoppers, mantis, crickets and mosquitoes whenever you take a dump or shower. Well that's probably the reason for my constipation there ):
But there were the better sides during the Cambodia trip which include the sightseeing and magnificent views:
I sure didn't regret joining the trip. And you know what's the better part? I'm heading for Laos next March (:
