no point crying over spilled milk

accidentally tumbled a milk jar a couple of weeks ago during a meeting with an insurance agent. pretty much embarrassing but still had to maintain my cool.
That brings to the point of a famous quote no point crying over spilled milk.
yes. time is not like a hour glass which can be reverted and repeated. As time flows, it is gone for eternity and the only way to "save" it  is by not wasting anymore time.
As events take place, what we should focus on is to classify and analyse the loopholes, and plan on the next move to counter whatever that had taken place. wailing and whining about the misfortune will only gain temporary sympathy and attention. sometimes, it may even turn others away.
so why cry over spilled milk when you could have taken a paper towel, wipe off the stains, walk to the pantry, and pour yourself a new jar of milk?
Well of course, in certain circumstances, life doesn't provide you with that many opportunities, like how the milk in the pantry will eventually run out. Thus, cherish each chance granted as you learn from the fallback.
