sharpen

was busy brushing up on my homework until i gave up just now. decided to only do those work i think are compulsory so yeah, my workload has decreased (:
holidays are gonna past by like the wind~~~~~~ shoom and it will be gone.
though i'm not gonna do all the homework assigned, i will do some self-revision to get me on track (:
btw some of my personal thoughts:
i feel that people are getting more and more superficial and lack empathy. they tend to think and say things based on the story on the surface of something. they think in the way of the apparent statement and not the reasons or situations behind the statement.
get what i mean? good.
don't get it? well here's an example:
"steven killed his wife"
now when people hear or read this, most will be thinking like 'woah, what a jerk! he's an asshole! he should die! where got people kill his own wife one? inhuman..'
but who would actually find out the story or reason behind this statement?
the story is..:
steven's wife committed adultery a few months back and was then discovered by steven not long ago. steven confronted his wife and his wife showed no remorse, thinking she had no fault and even said some nasty comments about steven and this marriage. the couple then got into a conflict. steven, who was stronger and angrier, pinned his wife on the floor and strangled her. by the time he regained his rational, it was too late. filled with remorse, he actually called for the police and ambulance despite knowing that he would get arrested. He made a public apology after that.

now get what i mean?
i'm not trying to say that 'steven' was not at fault and should not be punished and that his wife courted her own death. what i'm conveying is that the apparent victim may not be of total innocence and the apparent baddie may not be totally offensive.
